I follow Steven Cherry‘s weekly podcast on technology at IEEE’s Spectrum. This week he is covering the recent events involving Motorola. Once one of the most important technology companies in the world, with divisions in semiconductors, television, radio, cellular networks and cellphones, Motorola is slowly being dismantled. Most of its groups spun off to create other companies and now, once the companies core business is only based in cellular networks and cellphones, Nokia-Siemens Networks will acquire Motorola’s wireless infrastructure division.
